This Independence Day, Animal Planet launches a special line up of programmes celebrating India’s incredible wildlife and diverse environments with Yeh Mera India. A dedicated one hour slot, Yeh Mera India takes viewers on an exotic journey through India, from the epic Himalayan Mountains, down the mighty River Ganges and across to the lost world of the North East, to explore its iconic wildlife, secret locations and epic terrains.

Commemorating the 66^th year of India’s Independence Yeh Mera India rejoices the country’s iconic and enchanting wildlife every night at 8PM. To mark the celebration, Animal Planet also launches the Yeh Mera India Anthem, a three minute harmonious tribute to the fantastic wildlife of India, composed and performed by renowned music personalities like Lesle Lewis, Shaan, Mathangi and Monali. This high-energy multi lingual anthem cheers for the spirit of freedom.
